THE GARAGE
The movie characters work two jobs: at a garage and at a fire station. In the first job, they destroy a car left for them to clean. In the second, they go off on a false alarm and return to find their own building on fire.
COPS
Comedy about a young man (Buster Keaton) who accidentally gets on the bad side of the entire Los Angeles Police Department during a parade and is chased all over town.
STORYTALE TRIO
Beatrix Schmidt . harp
Born in Hungary, Beatrix has lived in Portugal since 2007. She graduated in Music, on the harp instrument with professor Stéphanie Manzo and completed her master's degree in Music Teaching, at the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa. She performed several recitals and has collaborated with several orchestras, such as Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra, Orquestra Académica Metropolitana, Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa, Orquestra Sinfónica Portuguesa, Orquestra do Norte, among others. Beatrix was part of the musical “The Sound of Music” at Teatro Politeama (Lisbon) and at Teatro Rivoli (Porto). Since 2008, she has been a harp teacher at the Nossa Senhora do Cabo Music School and at the Palmela Regional Conservatory.
Zofia Mendanha . violin
Born in Poland into a family with musical traditions, she began studying violin at the age of six. After completing the conservatory, she continued her training at the Escola Superior de Música, from which she received a degree in performance. Zofia proceded her training at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Leipzig, in Germany. Obtained a master's degree in music teaching from the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa. She has performed in several countries, collaborating with the orchestras Berliner Symphoniker, Mendelsohn Kammerorchester and Orquestra Gulbenkian, Orquestra Sinfónica Portuguesa, Os Músicos do Tejo, among others.
Joana Almeida . cello
Joana began her musical studies at the age of five at the Covilhã Regional Music Conservatory. In 2000, she joined the Academia Nacional Superior de Orquestra, where she worked with professors Jeremy Lake, Pedro Neves, Peter Flanagan and Paulo Gaio Lima. Later, at the Escola Superior de Artes Aplicadas, where she completed her Bachelor's and Master's degrees, working with professor Catherine Strynckx.
Throughout her professional career, Joana collaborated with several orchestras and other formations. As a teacher, she taught at several schools and regional conservatories. She currently teaches at the Gregorian Institute of Lisbon and cumulatively at the Orquestra Geração Project.
